In restaurants, retail, hospitality and lobbies, feed the Differential Mode to M.A. radiating elements so program material stays coherent and pleasant across a wide floor – not just on-axis of a conventional box.
The chain, crystallized for the floor
Distributed audio usually tunes for on-axis and compromises everywhere else. Adding decorrelated M.A. radiation is designed to keep the program coherent and pleasant across the whole space – on the ordinary stereo feeds these venues already run.
A second, omnidirectional-within-tolerance arrangement is rendered simultaneously with, and separately from, the directional path.
The two-generator CM/DM architecture targets shelf loudspeakers and stationary spaces, so compact install boxes can radiate both modes.
M.A. Extraction derives Differential Mode from ordinary stereo feeds – no special content pipeline required.
The room-path signal can be convolved with an effect impulse response, a hook for tailoring to each space.
